Needing some advice please.

Been toilet training my 22 month old now for a few weeks and she is doing amazing at home. She goes by herself and only struggles really getting her trousers up and down but no accidents at home.

I took her out today without a nappy on and she had 5 accidents even with me taking her to the toilet regularly and her going.

Does this mean she isn't ready for outside yet or do I just keep persisting? I luckily took 4 changes of clothes with me but had to put a nappy on in the end but I don't want to confuse her. Any ideas?
