    Default Foleys Catheter

    Hi Ladies

Ive been in hospital now for 48 hours for induction at 38+4 (high blood pressure). Had three doses of gel (second dose was delayed for 12 hours because they thought i was having contractions - WRONG). Im still only 1cm so they can't yet break my waters and start the drip.

Ive come home for the day to rest and will return tonight to have a foleys catheter inserted with the aim of being able to break my waters tomorrow morning. Has anyone had one of these before? Did it work for you? Did it hurt? Did you get any cramping etc?

    Thanks in advance

Hi how did the foley catheter go? My DS is 7weeks old now. I had the balloon catheter in too. How long until your contractions kicked in and how long did u labour for?
