Default Is that 2 Pink Lines?

Hi everyone. Been a while since I was on this forum. My DS is now 2! (how time goes fast!).

Anyway just wanted to share my news with you.

DH and I have been trying for #2 for a while now. I'm supposed to be getting my period tomorrow and was going to wait (again...) but I was feeling positive so I decided to take a pregnancy test (First Response Early Result) today, and it came up with one very dark pink line, and one faint pink line! I was so disappointed I assumed it was negative.

HOWEVER after reading the information pamphlet it said that the lines can be different shades of pink.. and that if it is negative, there will be no 2nd line whatsoever. I can clearly see a 2nd line.. so.. I'm thinking it's POSITIVE! Yay! So thrilled. I rang my DH and we were both so happy but restrained about getting too excited as we don't know for sure yet. Anyway hopefully my period won't come and it will confirm it for me!

I'll let you know how I go....

Yay! THANKS! Ssuper excited. Thanks for your input it makes me feel even more positive that it's a positive now

I hadn't used a FRER before, the test I used with DS#1 was just a normal one and it came up with two very pink lines that were the same, that's why I was concerned about this one being so faint!
