Default Success after laparoscopy, dye and D&C with PCOS???

    Hi,
I'm going in for a laparoscopy, D&C and dye test done next Monday and want to know does anyone have any success stories to share if they had the same procedure done and how long after did you conceive. I'm TTC #2 and have just done my second stint of 6 months of clomid, have been TTC #2 since Dec 2009. My DS was a miracle after TTC for 5 years at the time I was in my mid 20's and naive as the Dr's never suggested anything other than Metformin & Clomid due to my age (I wanted to hit someone every time they said your still so young and have plenty of time) but this time round I'm over 30 so time is ticking.
FS has suggested having the lap, dye and DC and depending on what he finds either Clomid again or going onto Gonal F. I have ovulated when on 3 tabs of clomid just haven't conceived.
As doctors always forget to tell you something is there anything I should know about the procedure to make it more successful and what to expect after.

Any words of wisdom are much appreciated.

    Hi
I had done 5 rounds of clomid before i went in for lap and dye test. Had to do pregnant test before procedure just in case.. It was negative. After procedure i couldn't stand straight for a couple of days they gave pain pills which i didn't use it wasn't that bad. Urinated blue dye the first day ..
about 2 weeks later i did a pregnant test and it was positive!

I have also heard many stories of people getting preg after dye test.. Maybe ut flushes the tubes makes it clearer for the sperm i don't know..

Good luck with your test hopefully you get your bfp soon
