Wait, they are doing a job that they are getting paid for, that means that people in the armed forces are all murderers. I am completely against war myself - but I would never, ever call someone in the armed forces a murderer.

Being against the death penalty does not = empathy/sympathy for a murderer.

I'm against, completely against. I find the notion of a justice system killing someone for their crimes completely b@rbaric.

Gandalf summed it up for me: "Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo?"

Oh, of course it means we want to befriend them and have them in our homes!!

And yes, to me, if someone knowingly ends the life of another person, it is murder. What else would you call it???

I don't buy into all this "eye for an eye" and "playing god" stuff myself. Some people do the most horrendous things and get out with hardly any time spent in jail. You guys talk about "who has the right to determine someones death" etc, well who gives the right for a fuddy old judge to "determine" that a child's repeated abuse was worth 18 months in Jail. The whole system is f*cked!

There was a case here in Australia, I remember reading about it, where a 4 year old was viciously raped by a man who had mental health issues. He ended up serving no time, not even in a forensic hospital or anything. Now how the heck does that happen. He obviously needs something, if it isn't jail it is psychiatric help. And what message is that sending to the little girl and all the children of the world? An adult raping you is bad, unless he has mental health issues!!?? What the F*** - seriously. That is just off.

With regarding to chopping child molesters penis' off, it doesn't work. They did a study in the US and made some convicted men impotent with drugs, and they found they just went out and murdered their victims instead of raping them.

The justice system in itself is retarded. Take pedophiles for example. I really believe they can't help but be that way like being gay, or straight.. they are attracted to children and like "counselling" doesn't fix someone from being gay.. rehabilitation isn't going to stop someone from being attracted to children (Sorry I AM NO IN NO WAY SAYING THAT BEING GAY IS BAD OR EVEN RELATED TO PEDOPHILIA).

Therefore I believe if someone has acted on being a pedophile and raped a child they should be locked up forever. Whether that be in a mental insituation.. a village type thing they are limited to or jail or what... rather than them being let out and doing this thing over and over again.\

Sorry off topic I know. I don't believe in the death penalty itself but I don't believe these murderers should get a cushy seat in prison either. I know this is bad but when I hear Martin Bryant has had the **** beaten out of him I feel happy and glad that this happens to him often. That is much worse than the death penalty anyway

I'm against the taking of a life. Make their life a living hell: yes, take it: no.

I'm also against abortion for the same reason (can't bring myself to believe the taking of a life is a good thing).

But maybe if we removed repeat offenders arms?? You can't abuse a victim if you can't catch them first...hmm

I guess that would be even worse than death though right?

Sorry - but at the end of the day. I feel no sympathy ever at all for child molesters. I don't believe they should be treated with equal rights, as far as I'm concerned they lost those rights the moment they touched a child inappropriately.
