Sharp pains

Somtimes when i sneeze, cough or get up to quickly i get sharp pains in my lower stomach, im 14wks Just wondering if anyone else has experianced this or knows what it could be?

I'm nearly 20 weeks and it happens when I get up too quickly. I remember it happening when pregnant with ds so don't think it's an issue just muscles etc stretching but I'm seeing my midwife tomorrow arvo so will check while I'm there and let you know.

Yes! If it only lasts a few seconds then don't worry it's just round ligament pain , coughing or sneezing can cause ligaments to contract quickly and cause a sharp stabbing pain, I had this last week whenever I coughed and asked my OBGYN on Friday and that's what he said it was!

Yeah it only last a few seconds,somtimes its worse than others.

Sounds pretty normal to me, I had that too!

I get it now at 10 weeks. I thought it might be some old scarring from previous surgeries just 'twinging'. But the ligaments makes sense too.
