Default Induction with Drip & ARM

On Thursday morning I'm booked for induction where they'll break my waters and put me on the drip. My doctor is concerned bubs is small and also the pain I'm in might cause lasting damage if I'm left to go.

What can I expect? I've had my waters broken twice before, the second time I'm not sure I was even in full blown labour but I'd been stopping & starting for over a day.

I'll be 39+2wks, already 3cms dilated and this is my third baby.

Hi, I had the drip and my waters broken for my two previous pregnancies.
My first was 4 hrs labour, posterior, the hospital I was at let me still go in the bath, just occasional monitoring.
    I managed with just gas.
My second was 2 hrs labour, at a different hospital, they had me on the bed hooked up to CTG machine the whole time.
    Also managed just gas.
You do go from very comfortable and a bit nervous :-) to strong contractions very suddenly, which can be quite intense. But it is still manageable.
