    Default Paid parental leave

For those of you that applied for ppl prior to baby's birth, how long did it take for payments to start once you provided birth cert etc?? I'm already receiving ftb parenting payment etc.
    Cheers

I didn't get mine sorted until after my DD wa sborn as I didn't realise I neede dto take in the paperwork that your midwife signs after the birth of your baby. I didn't need the birth cert. I just needed to go back in with the midwife paperwork, they finished processing it and I had it within 2 weeks.

Under 2 weeks. I took my forms to Medicare, not centrelink.
