    Default Kindle vs iPad

Please help me decide whether I should get a kindle..

I read a lot, and I have an iPad, but it's too big to fit in my handbag, and the battery doesn't last particularly long. So I am looking at getting a kindle, but then I worry we have too much technology.

Have you got a kindle? What do/don't you like about it?

I have just gotten a kindle touch. I love it, It is gorgeous. There is nothing I don't like about it, It is so small and light I don;t even notice it in my bag, if you get wi fi with the free 3G network you can download books wherever you are anywhere in the world. The battery lasts for 2 months! For me that is probably the best part. I got a lovely leather case that has a built in light for it too. I love it!

I absolutely love my Kindle! I still read normal books because I love the look and feel and smell of a real book, but the Kindle is slowly converting me ...

Reading on a Kindle is better for your eyes, too, as an iPad has a screen that is lit whereas a Kindle is like a book. It depends how much you read per day if that will affect you, though.

I love how light it is, that it can go anywhere and as mine has wi-fi, I can always download a new book once I finish one!
