    Default Antibiotics and TTC

I am very sick and went to see GP today, not my usual since he is 100kms away in the city but just a local GP who gave me antibiotics for my chest infection...
I was so out of it while there, just feeling sick but When I got home realized that I should have checked the type of antibiotics was given that they're ok to take, read the pamphlet and they're not! What should I do now?
We are ttc, my cycles are all over the place, very irregular but FF seems to think I may have ovulated on Thursday and we dtd friday...I'm worried that I shouldn't take them but also really need to get better!! Going to see my GP isn't an option because of the distance...
Any thoughts? So sorry about the long post!

    Hi,

Can you maybe go into a chemist and ask them if it's ok to take? I am trying to conceive and i don't even take cold and flu tablets just to be safe so i proabably wouldn't take them myself.

If you are pregnant, I would think that its more important to rid your body of infection rather than risk what it might do to your unborn fetus. Infection can be a pretty nasty thing to have in your body. Its one of those situations where if the benefit outweighs the risk then go ahead & take them, if you know what I mean.

I'm not a medical expert though, so you should probably seek advice from your doctor - can you give them a call?
