    Default Ovarian Reserve Test

Just wondering if anyone has ever had an Ovarian Reserve Test and if so, what is your age and what were your results? I am 42 and trying to conceive after losing our five and a half year old daughter two months ago. I know it's so soon to be trying to have another baby, but I'm 42 and my husband is 51, so age is against us. We will NEVER replace Sian, but desperately want to give our 21 month old son a brother or sister to grow up with.
I had the blood test done on Friday and am awaiting results. Acupuncturist has said that he would expect my results to be low, based purely on my age. Just interested in what other people's results have been. Many thanks.

Between 1-10 is low, 10-15 on the cusp of low, 15-30 normal. Above 30 indicates pcos. I got a 9.9. My reg specialist says this is ok as I'm early 30s but if I was late 30s she'd b worried as that's low egg reserve with low quality eggs. But my fs thinks that's low and was keen to do ivf in the next year

I don't know the actual measurements but my Mum was considering going down the path if IVF about 18 months ago. She was 42 and they said her levels were very high. Recently she thought she might have been headed to menopause and got tests again but no, the doc said she was "very fertile", that was at 43.

I had the same test done 3 years ago at age 30 mine was 6. FS didn't expect many eggs so put me on high doses. At egg pick up I got 21 eggs, 11 fertilized, 1 transferred, 7 frozen. I am now 27 weeks pregnant after 3 tries though I also had uterine lining issues -Ashermans Syndrome.
