wow kk88 that's amazing. I don't think my DH could do that... he wouldn't be able to give up the 'daddy' role.

My kids eldest cousin is gay, as is an aunt and an uncle of theirs. We have several gay friends and I'm happy to have my kids surrounded by loving relationships.

other. my uncle was gay but he passed away when i was young. i never knew until i was a teenager. im guessing it wasnt talked about cause my grandparents were fairly conventional. but i remember always seeing him with his 'friend/housemate' who i now know was his partner.

I have one male cousin who's openly gay and one who thinks that no one else knows. I have also lost male cousin who couldn't cope with life due to depression and pressure from work colleagues didn't help

We have a gay couple next door who we're quite friendly with - it has evoked many conversations within our family unit.

No one in my family, but I have a few friends who are lesbians, and DD1 is friends with a little boy that has a lesbian mum, and we have spoken about it before as she asked me where her friends daddy is.

No-one close now. I did live with two gay guys for a couple of years, just FB friends now, see each other occasionally through mutual friends.

We dont have any close relationships with gay people but i openly talk to DS about how women can love women and men can love men as i want him to know and understand it acceptable.
