Default 5 month old with cough

My almost 5 month old has a cough (flem cough). He seems happy and is feeding well, however it is disturbing his sleep.
Is there anything I can do / use?
Do you think a vaporiser will help?

I swear by my vaporizer. I have a Vicks one and just use a small amount of Vicks liquid (can't remember what it's called) with water. One thing I will say is make sure you air the room out during the day or wipe down the walls etc after use as I didn't and ended up with mould on the ceiling. I also would rub baby balsam on his chest at night and also on bottom of his feet covered with socks.

    Hope this helps

And be careful using it!!! DD has had a bad cough, I started using the Vicks humidifier in the room and two nights ago, the room had so much "vapor" it was dripping down the walls - and some of the moisture got to an electrical plug board, shorted it and we blew a fuse at 4am! My husbands an electrician and I got a long lecture about how dangerous that could have been, we're lucky it was just a blown fuse. Maybe be extra diligent about where in the room u place the humidifier.
