Yeah doesn't bother me in the slightest. However the only person I have ever known with an expensive car (Porsche) felt the need to take me for a drive in it. I could tell he thought he was impressive - I just thought it was a cute looking car. I certainly didn't put my feet up on the dash though

I don't think any more or less of them. A car is a car, right?

    I don't think anything. It's just a car.

I think lucky them to be able to afford the lease (or maybe they're super lucky and own it outright). I don't give it much thought really!

I live in inner Melbourne and a lot of the families at DS's kindergarten have really nice cars. One of them has a humongous Porsche Carrera S (or whatever it is), and she is such a lovely person. I'm envious of her car! But I really like her so I don't think she's snobby at all.

I get envious! We hope to have a nice flashy car one day. A lot of our friends have fancy flashy 4wDs and we'd love one too. DH is a stockbroker too and unfortunately it takes a long time to build up to two BMWs and a Porche!!

Maybe by mentioning it, she is making sure you notice it and are suitably impressed.
