@Nafsika DH and I have a small business. The payment rates are the same for business owners as for regular wage earners, it all depends how much of a wage your paying yourself from the business and how the business is set up and money is distributed. Probably best to speak to your accountant.

We overestimated our income by heaps this year so I am looking forward to my supps!

Can anyone tell me is Centrelink posting out group certificates this year? We are doing my dhs tax return next week and I haven't received it yet. I've already advised the ato and Centrelink of non lodgement so do I actually need the group certificate for my husbands tax return??

Centrelink do not post out payment summaries. They can be accessed via online services -- go to "request a document" then "payment summary".

What payments do you get? Family tax benefit, child care benefit and child care rebate are tax free so you won't get a payment summary.

I only get tax and b so it wasn't there either. However when I went to do my tax return it didn't need it as it's not a taxable income. Hope this helps.
