    Default Nurses with tattoos

Do you find nurses with visible tattoos off putting? I'm wanting to have a small tattoo done on my wrist in the next few weeks, only about the size of a 50c piece, however I am hesitant because I don't want to be judged in the work place. I am a year away from finishing uni, so will then be doing grad program interviews etc.

I'm right handed and have decided to get it done on my left wrist.

No not at all. Tattoos and piercings are becoming so common.
I think society is moving past judging and associating people with tatts and piercings as bad people or criminals.

No way, even if you had both your sleeves done I wouldn't be fazed in the slightest. Would give me something to talk about

My DF is an RN and he has tattoos, nobody bats an eyelid and it certainly doesn't make him any less capable of doing his job

I also wouldn't bat an eyelid, I love tattoos and have tattoos on both my arms and wrists

I don't think you find anyone under 40 who would care, the elderly might have some issuse but I think they would few and far between.
This from someone who hates tatts on my family

I'm a nurse and plenty of nurses I work with have very tasteful tattoos and piercings and no one notices.

Would not faze me in the slightest! There was a lovely middy here at our small town (four bed maternity!) hospital for a couple of months and she had both sleeves, up either side of her neck and stretchers in her ears. Was definitely unexpected out here but she was WONDERFUL! I'm sure there were some who where shocked at her appearance but in a small country town anything different is going to stand out.

She said she loved the place and would have loved to stay so she didn't come across anyone rude thank goodness. I would LOVE to have her as my middy.

Best of luck with your studies.

    Sam
