    Default Growth Hormone Therapy

I would be interested to hear from anybody that has a child on growth hormone therapy? My daughter has just started and so I am curious to find out how soon we will start to see results and whether there are any side effects etc?

    hey
My daughter is on growth hormone she has been since 2010 we have only seen positive changes in her with it Sure she hates the needles but we use buzy for shots and it helps a bit

We put DD on it more so for the metobolic side of it than simply growth, she cant keep her blood sugars up for even 30 minute with out her tube feeds going when she wasnt on GHT now that she is we can get up to 1 hour sometimes even 1. 5 and for us thats a HUGE thing

I'm just bumping this thread. My daughter will more than likely require growth hormones at some stage. She's only in her first year now, but has mosaic turner syndrome so depending on the guidelines at around 2 years of age, my paed will evaluate then.
I'm just completely clueless to it really. I know it's injections - thats it!
