    Default Sex after bleeding...

    Hey everyone!

Just wondering if there's any ladies out there who have experienced bleeding while pregnant, and have gone on to have sex?
    Were you worried/nervous?

I personally haven't but I wouldn't without consulting my GP/OB first to make sure it's safe. Usually after bleeding they tell you to abstain for a bit don't they?

I had a bleed at 7+5 and was told not to DTD till I was 15 weeks. My poor DH!!! After the 15 week mark we DTD and all was good. I was worried and constantly went looking for blood but so far it's all been good!
Speak to you OB or midwife!

I agree. I had bleeding on and off for 12 weeks and was told to abstain for several weeks (until 20 I think). Definitely check with your Ob or GP.

I had placenta bleeding at 12 weeks and have had spotting on and off ever since. DH hasn't any sex since the bleeding started.

But I would check with your OB you do it just in case there could be a risk.

I had a bleed at 18weeks (OB thinks most likely from a slight placenta abruption) I was terrified to try anything but double checked with OB and was told it was fine. Do what your comfortable with but I would def double check with your leading carer just for your own piece of mind.
