    Default 12 week scan- Brisbane

Just wondering about the 12 week scan... Was yours in 2d or 3d? My ob will be doing the scan himself and my 8 week scan was a 2d. Cant help but think I'm missing out on the 3d experience?? Im not sure.

Mine was in both 2d & 3d didn't realise that would be happening so was a nice surprise. My ob has an ultrasound that can do both maybe your ob is the same?

I had my 12 week scan at the royal and they did both 2d and 3d. Although at this stage I still prefer the 2d, I think you can see things more clearly.

    2d & 3d- but 3d was terrible due to anterior placenta :-P

Mine was 2D and 3D but both DH and I found the 3D really hard to make out. It looked like big puffs of fairy floss, whereas the 2D looked like a bubba!

So, for mine 3D didn't add much. But it might vary between ultrasound clinics, practitioners and machines.
