Get a pair of those white handgloves (woolies or chemist) and smother them in handcream and pop the gloves on. Best to do it before bed and leave on all night

Yep, I had this issue and some dermatitis as well, the dermatologist told me to put my prescribed cream on and then sorbeline or vitamin e over the top, then cotton gloves over night.

I Get eczema on my hands and use a cortisone cream then cotton gloves. Also apparently nappy rash cream is good as it forms a barrier

I have the same problem, my knuckles look like I have punched a wall, they have cracks on them, so horrid. I use palmers cocoa butter Foot Magic with vitamin E. It is awesome! Suppose to be for the feet but works wonders on the hands. It recommends putting cotton socks on so I think cotton gloves overnight would be even better!

Hemp Hand Protector from The Body Shop. They also sell they gloves which cost a bit more but are made from a special fabric that doesn't absorb the cream so it all soaks into the skin.

I've been using Palmers Cocoa Butter cream on my hands after I moisturise my legs and it works a dream.

You could be dehydrated too, I get dry skin around my nails when i haven't been drinking enough water. I also use thick hand moisturiser before I go to bed.
