Wow ladies, what a huge difference in a few week!

OP, would you mind posting, or PM'ing me, an example of what you would eat for 2 or 3 days? I really need to clean up my diet and lose 5kg but lack the motivation. Seeing your pics has inspired me!

Yeah of course ... Here goes

I tend to eat 3 meals and one snack a day. I'd be better off eating 2 snacks but I just feel so full from what I eat.

What I eat varies - but generally I'd choose from the following

    Breakfast
Poached eggs with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and baby spinach.

Poached eggs with smoked salmon, low fat cottage cheese and baby spinach.

Rolled oats soaked made in hot water with fruit (usually banana and berries) with low fat natural Greek yogurt.

    A smoothie.

I try to avoid bread but I have on occasion had avocado on toast.

    Lunch
My UUV (use up veg) soup.

Salad with some kind of meat (chicken or lamb)

Fruit salad with or without natural Greek yogurt.

Brown rice and veg lettuce cups.

    Dinner
Usually just Meat and veg. I eat a lot of fish. No sauce or salt. Garnished with black chia seeds and avocado sometimes.

Brown rice and veg stirfry with some kind of meat

If I'm really slack I'll make some couscous with stock and zap a steam fresh veg pack and mix it together. Then mix in some pine nuts. Takes about 4 mins.

    Snacks
Ryvita crackers (really yummy) with cottage cheese and either smoked salmon and baby spinach or tomato and baby spinach.

    Fruit.... I love my fruit!!!

Ryvita crackers with spreadable fruit (St. Dalfours red raspberry) with banana and almonds.

This is just an example. I do still have a few cups of tea a day with trim milk. Then I just drink water.

I used to be seriously addicted to sugar, junk food and coke zero. I never thought I'd be able to kick my cravings. I would feel such an urge to have a fix. I was always tired and eating to beyond full. I thought I needed coke zero like you wouldn't believe.

Now I haven't touched the stuff in well over a year.

Hope this is what you were after???

Thank you! That's exactly what I was after. I tend to eat the same things over and over (I hate having to think of different things to eat everyday!), so I only need a couple of days worth of food and I just cycle it I think cutting back on bread/ potatoes/ pasta is going to be key for me.

Just thought I'd share another pic. I had already lost the bulk of my weight last winter and had maintained it for a year. Just put on a pair of jeans I was wearing last year and they are too big. It's nice not feeling bloated.

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing your progress, I am sure it will inspire lots of others.

I eat very similarly to you, and I can not tell you how much it is doing for my overall health (and my waistline lol).

thank you so much for all your ideas. I really really need to get myself into gear to start losing weight ready to ttc #2. The key for me is what I eat up until dinnertime as we eat extremely healthy dinners - so if I can get un-lazy and start eating healthy breakfasts and lunch I think I should start losing some weight and having more energy.
