I use a Steelcraft Phoenix stroller and have since the little miss was 4 weeks old. It lays back almost completely flat. I lift it on and off buses and up stairs and have never had a problem yet. I liked it cause it was pretty stable. It probaly isnt the lightest of all the prams but I've never had a problem dragging it around with me. I can even get it on the bus with one hand and Matilda in the other when they arent pram accessible buses.

Cool, that is one I have short listed...
I have a stupid all terrain 3 wheeler thing which is soooo heavy its ridiculous, its only good for leaving in the garage and chucking bub in to go for a walk.
Thanks for that![]()
the chidcare nero is good aswell
We have the Maclaren Xt Classic - 6.5 kg very easy to handle and very very easy to manouver..I've done buses, trains the lot in it, and it folds down unbrella style..I can even manage all the stupid little overcrowded stores!
I have this one too. I brought it as my 3 wheeler is great but I wanted something smaller to fit in the boot. It cost me about $120.00 and has been wonderful.Originally Posted by krisseh;749033[B

I have a Valco Urban Ultralight which I used with DD1 and it is / was fantastic. Very light and has several layback positions - suitable for newborn up and good amount of storage underneath.
Can only use it occ now as have 2 DDs!
Check it out if you haven't already decided.

I'm with Tannie - the Valco Urban Ultralight!![]()
I actually asked a similar question a while ago on BubHub, and somehow I ended up searching all over the internet for strollers that had the appropriate features.
I decided on the Valco Urban Ultralight because it had everything I wanted, and because it wasn't UGLY either. lol. I couldn't find it in the QLD shops though, so I ordered it online at Babies Galore... all up (including delivery) it was $200.
It has a good-size carry basket underneath, folds up very compactly, has a carry-strap (so you can carry it over your shoulder when getting on a bus or whatever), and weighs about 5kg (so you can easily carry it one-handed). It also has a 3-position recline. It comes with a sunshade and a raincover.
They have it on hte babys galore website...
The best thing is, that it being so lightweight, it's SO easy to push! I noticed the difference IMMEDIATELY after switching from a big bulky pram to this stroller. Another great thing is that I can FINALLY fit down the regular checkout aisles in shopping centres! lol.![]()
