Hi, I went to Julie Lindstrom and love her! I got a BFP on my first IVF cycle. Not surprised she charges more than others, but I would happily pay it again.

Julie is amazing at what she does, she actually cares about her patients and wants that BFP almost as much as you do. Rosa & Tracey the receptionists are also lovely, although I can understand your comment.

Everyone at CFC were wonderful, from what I've been told I have paid more for their services than other clinics but I think it was well worth it. Throughout the whole process there was always someone available to help me if I needed it, I was even given Julie's mobile for after hours & she would text me to see how I was going. I've read from others that they have been referred to emergency if anything happens after hours.

I have heard on the grape vine that there is a wait list to see Julie. Which to me can only mean that she is awesome & everyone wants her!

    Hey
Do you know what her IUI and IVF costs are as they didn't give them to me over the phone? Most recepionists do but her's said I need to see her in person. However I do not want to pay heaps money only to discover her other charges are also high, I am a single mother now so have limited savings.
I am deciding between Molloy (QFG), Lindstrom and Das (CFC) or Glenn Sterling at Life Fertility. I am so confused!!!

Stormgirl, I am 99% sure they accept single women wanting to use donor sperm.
My partner and I are using donor sperm and we just had to go to two councilling sessions beforehand.

Think I will give Dr Sterling a try for I can get in sooner, he is cheaper and I have heard good things about him. I would have tried Dr Lindstrom but I needed prices for I am on a limited budget and they wouldn't give them over the phone. I might call them again because other places give me their fees.
    Thanks

Can anyone please recommend a fs in or near Brisbane who is caring, explains everything and has a good success rate??? PLEASE!
I am currently going through City Fertility and would be happy to stay with them with right specialist but am open to other clinics too. However, since I am single and would be using donor sperm I am aware this limits my options a bit. I also want a non prejudice specialist too as I have heard of some that aren't as keen as helping people in my situation (with no man!).
    Would appreciate any feedback please.
Sorry to repost this but there must be some good recommendations out there!
    Thanks everyone

    Thanks Vonylook.
How much does she charge for the IUI?? They wouldn't give me prices over phone but considering she costs $100 more just for initial consultation then I am guessing her other fees will be more costly too. I really wanted to try her but I am on very limited money (considering I already single mum).
have you been seeing her from the beginning or did you change to her?

Sorry.... I AM 6 wks pregnant (with my 2nd child)..... didn't check what i wrote before i hit the post button! If you are over the safety net (Medicare) Then IUI costs around $800 and you get 80% back. I was with someone else.. and they were useless... Julie is worth it! I did clomid and one iui with some else.... I did 2 IUIs and one IVF round with Julie / City Fertility Centre.
    Hope this helps.

UPDATE:- I had an appt with Glenn Sterling. I wasn't sure what to make of him!! He was certainly 'different', very arrogant but I suppose he can afford to be! I liked his self confidence as that is what you need if you are going to rely on him to hopefully get you pregnant. But I can't decide whether I would be comfortable with him or not to be my FS. Some of the comments he made were 'OMG I can't believe you said that to me after meeting me only five mins ago!' If my mother had been in the room she would have been horrified! I did have a friend with me and she thought he was good and certainly knows what he is talking about. She got pregnant through Dr Warren DeAmbrosis and she said they were very similar in personality.
However I have also managed to get an appt with DeAmbrosis in November and with his fantastic reviews I am wondering whether I should wait to see him???

I thought Warren was retiring?? Anyone know differently??

I met with Glen, and like yourself found him very arrogant. I think his efforts to put people at ease feel a bit forced and fake. That being said I have no doubts he is a very smart man and that's what I want. I'm not there to hang out with him.
