Ugh... Will do catch ups later. DS picked up a rotten cold from kindy, I kept him home on Thursday but it seemed the reprise of health on Friday was simply that... A reprise. He's got a nasty cough and blocked nose now.

And the best part? I'm getting it too! My throat feels like it's been sandpapered, my sinuses are KILLING me and I've got a runny nose that's probably going to lead to a snore-fest tonight and the best I can do for it is paracetamol because I can't take anything whilst utd!
I have proper Sudafed in the cupboard (not that PE junk that doesn't do a thing for me when I'm properly sick) but I can't take it. Rats! Lol.

Ha!...That's funny, but you're right...The Sudafed Phenylephrine is rubbish; a handful of amphetamine-manufacturers ruined it for everyone!
You can use a nasal decongestant spray (eg. Otrivin) in pregnancy. At least you could breathe at night!
    My son is a snotty-boy today; a by-product of day-care, too.
    Hope you get better quickly.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend 😃 I'm just chilling with the family doing the usual housework duties.

Tormy and loopylea, hope this cycle is the one for you!!

    Eko- bummer that you're sick!

    Everyone else- hope you're well!

I did the second insemination tonight. Still a few air bubbles but nothing fell out desperately hoping I ovulate soon so we have a good chance this cycle.

I think my EDD is about the 31/3/2013 (right on Easter!).

My last two cycles have been around 37 days, and i measured a week behind in my ultrasound last Tuesday, but makes sense if I O'd a week late. First month i didnt use OPKs, so I have no idea!
Waiting for another scan at 7 weeks to make sure everything's on track. I am slightly anxious....
    Fingers crossed!

Also keeping my fingers crossed for you girls and have been reading along. Sending pregnancy vibes your way!

By the way, for me too the worst time was getting BFNs and waiting for AF to show. But this last time I was getting BFNs (3) then got my BFP the day after AF was due!

Gah. Is it normal to lose some of semen when you go to the loo, even if it was a while later?

Lost a bit this morning, hoping that if it didn't make it up there by then, it was never going to.

Rainbow road- yes i always lose semen even the following morning! I've been going to sleep with it in to improve chances! It's got to come out sometime and its the sperm you want swimming into the uterus, the semen is just the carrier from what i understand.

looneylea- it sucks you've had clomid side effects. I've had none on 50 or 100mg but wondering if that's a bad sign! Hoping i don't have to increase to 150 mg next month when i get my day 21 bloods on Tuesday. Hope this is your lucky cycle! Fx.

Yes, completely normal. And I agree with Bond Girl; even if you have sex in the evening, one still "leaks" in the morning. There are alot of crass jokes which describe this phenomenon!
But you are right; potential sperm candidates swim through fertile cervical mucus upwards into the uterus quite quickly.
    Good luck!

Thanks girls. I'm feeling a bit blah knowing that's it for this cycle...no more inseminations...but, if it's going to happen, it will. Hoping those little guys will wait patiently for my egg to pop!!!
