Raaaah! Been so hectic! DH started a new job and DS is at full time daycare for the first time so I'm all over the shop.

I've told DH, he's thrilled of course lol. More later, silly phone is too much effort heh.

Morning all! Well I feel like s**t today, woke up so early before my alarm and before DS woke up. Then argued with DH before I came to work, so boo to Tuesday! Hope everyone else is having a better morning!

I'm so pleased to see all the BFP on this thread, and all the recent newbies.

CD 16 for me, and when I was on the bus this morning I noticed that I had some pains in my abdomen, not on any one side, kind of all across both sides and middle. It doesn't feel bowel related (and I know quite well what they're like as I have a LOT of digestive issues). It's defiantely gynae related I think, so I'm hoping it might be ovulation pain. Which would mean i've O'd right at the end of the 5-10 day window after finishing clomid. I didn't have this pain last month on my first cycle of clomid, but I didn't O last month either.
Please God let it be O!!!!

There are a few lucky women who do have predictable one-sided ovulation pain, but for the majority of us, pain/discomfort in the pelvic region is an unreliable guide to ovulation. One can get mid-cycle pain on either side due to the build-up of mucus in the Fallopian tubes. This is encouraging, as it is a good medium for sperm to survive. Try not to worry about pains/twinges, and use other methods instead (BBTs, OPKs, cervical mucus and position).
Bowel activity can also mimic gynaecological pain, and even experienced Surgeons can be mis-lead. The classic example is appendicitis in a woman of child-bearing age...appendicitis or corpus luteal pain? A diagnostic dilemma even for doctors. Even as a doctor myself, I am never 100% certain when it comes to my own lower pelvic pain (intestinal colic or gynaecological?). So, Chocciequeen, please don't stress, OK?

Ok thank J37. It is only because I am taking clomid that I'm worried we will end up with twins!!
