I'm petrified. It's what I've wanted for so long and now I have it I'm so scared.
That's pretty understandable after what you've both been through.
So hope this is a sticky one, crossing everything for you (except my legs )
Fx you scored yourself an implantation dip rainbow road
hope everyone else is feeling good about their cycles , would be lovely to see a string of BFPs this month

I'm actually really confused about my weird temps this LP! I had no spikes or dips last cycle, each temp was within .1 degree of each other So unlike the last one! It's just bizarre. I hope it means something.

Hopefully it is an implantation dip. When are you testing?

J37 do you think it might be a multiple? There are no twins on either side thou.
OK, I am going to post an excerpt from an article which demonstrates the profound variability of bhCG levels in a SINGLETON pregnancy (one baby). It does not go back as far as 8-9DPO, because the general consensus is not to test before 14DPO. But, as I have said, even though bhCG levels are higher with multiples, they tend to be the SAME as a singleton in the very EARLY stages of pregnancy. The only way to solve this one is to wait for your ultrasound!!

Hope this chart helps you, and others...

To illustrate the limitations of looking at a single measurement, here is a sample reference list for HCG levels in singleton pregnancies, based on days past ovulation (DPO):

    * At 14 DPO, the average HCG level is 48 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-119 mIU/ml.
    * At 15 DPO, the average HCG level is 59 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-147 mIU/ml.
    * At 16 DPO, the average HCG level is 95 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 33-223 mIU/ml.
    * At 17 DPO, the average HCG level is 132 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-429 mIU/ml.
    * At 18 DPO, the average HCG level is 292 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 70-758 mIU/ml.
    * At 19 DPO, the average HCG level is 303 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 111-514 mIU/ml.
    * At 20 DPO, the average HCG level is 522 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 135-1690 mIU/ml.
    * At 21 DPO, the average HCG level is 1061 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 324-4130 mIU/ml.
    * At 22 DPO, the average HCG level is 1287 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 185-3279 mIU/ml.
    * At 23 DPO, the average HCG level is 2034 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 506-4660 mIU/ml.
    * At 24 DPO, the average HCG level is 2637 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 540-10,000 mIU/ml

So, this highlights that a single bhCG measurement is useless in determining twins, gestation (age of pregnancy), amongst other things! An early ultrasound (at LEAST 7-8 weeks post-LMP) is the only way to determine that.

In particular, glance at the average values, but look at the bottom values of the reference range. For instance, at 24DPO the average is 2,637, but can be as low as 540, and result in a normal pregnancy.

I understand your point about being scared, given your history of miscarrying. I have had 2 recent miscarriages, and when/if I get pregnant again, I will be beside myself until I have my 8-week scan. And, like you, I have had a normal, healthy pregnancy already.

    Hope this helps.
    J x.
