Hope you dont mind me asking but how late were you ovulating before taking clomid?
I was ovulating from cycle day 19 onwards as cycle length changed 33-48day cycles. FS put me on them as I said I wanted to have a chance every month. Both my DS and DD were easy one was while I on pill and other first cycle off. DH and I have had tests done and everything came back normal so no one can tell me why it's taking so long this time???

That is unusual. Have you repeated the pregnancy test with a more reliable test, such as a FRER test?
Those inconclusive HPTs you did were a few days ago, weren't they?

It seems the ovacue is confused too. It's still showing I'm in my fertile window and my readings dropped yesterday which suggests I'm getting closer to O. Will keep bd'ing and OPK'ing and hopefully get a pos soon. Cd15 today, seems my cycle might be longer this month, has been 24 days, hopefully getting back to 28 day.

My SIL was released from hospital yesterday. They got the contractions to stop and have given her a couple of steroid injections. Her bile salts were high, so they are going to monitor that.

Hope you are all having a good weekend

I haven't repeated with free no. The + hpts were Wednesday and ever other of those tests I did before and after were negative.... I'm officially due for Af today, obviously it wasn't visiting early afterall. Very confused as I'm not sure if that was Af and should I be starting next round of clomid etc????

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to forums so please excuse me if I use the wrong language......I mnight need some help in that dept. I am 36 this year and my hubby will be 40 so we may have left this too late but we are only now emotionally ready to taqke the plunge. I had my IUD removed last month and my Gyno have me some ovulation kits so i can test LH levels to help with conception. I am regular with my cycles and both of us are fit and healthy so here's hoping it happens for us soon. Hubby would love it if I was pregnant by christmas but I don't want to put that pressure on myself......I guess time will tell! We are heading for an overseas holiday next month (for 4 weeks) and am kind of hoping we conceinve while we are there as we will both be relaxed......... Good luck everyone and thank you for letting me share

Wait until you get a consistent menstrual flow, and count that as CD1, and then take your clomid accordingly (? CD2-6 or CD3-7, I assume). OBGYNs generally agree that spotting does not mark the beginning of your cycle, only to count from consistent bleeding.

Welcome! Best of luck. This is a great forum in which to vent, share, and ask questions. Don't worry about the language; it took me a while to work out what people were talking about. I think it is cute, but I don't use it...I am too uptight about spelling, grammar and punctuation!
Hope your cycle returns to normal post-IUD removal.
Ask lots of questions if you chose; I am a doctor myself, we also have a midwife (Button), and lots of bright girls very experienced in the world of TTC.
    Enjoy!
    J.

Thanks for the welcome! The OPK i use is similar to a pregnancy test and measures the LH surge - they are the same ones the my Gyno uses for his IVF patients (not that we are doing that). From what I understand if the surge is present I will ovulate within 24-36 hours - does that sound right? We are trying to be relaxed about it but realise that time is not really our friend due to our ages so need to be somewhat proactive as well. I have been charting my cycle for the last 7 months and have a 31 day cycle. We regularly dtd during ovulation this month and while I am not trying to get my hopes up am counting down the days till I can test......
