Oh that sucks Rainbow, I think thats what happened to me last month. I was sure I O'd when DH was around but AF was late making it a 21 day luteal phase so I must have O'd later and it was just my body gearing up the first time... Like you said, put it down to learning - I really hope you are still in with a chance though

    Sadly donor is away.

Hoping someone will hang on but I doubt it. Anyway at least I won't be gutted when AF arrives, as I'm expecting her now. I truly don't know why I ovulated late though. I've been reading that evening primrose oil can delay O? I'm not going to take anything additional next cycle (except foods I eat) and see how I go.

I'm also seriously considering taking DPs tax return straight to the clinic and doing IUI in a clinic on our time to save the hassle of getting our donor here on time, especially since at some point we'll have to work out if the cost of flying him down each month outweighs the cost of just going to a clinic.

We'll see. I'll say I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Ok so now I am really confused! For the past couple of hours i’ve had some brown bleeding started! More than just spotting, enough to cover my panty liner. Wondering if this is the start of AF but I’m only on CD24 and been told by FS that I haven’t O’d as progesterone only 8.6 on Monday. So it can’t be that surely?

J- have you got any advice please?
Oh dam! This happened to me last month as well, 5 days of spotting then Af came, finally!

Thats a discussion Dp and I have been having the last couple of days also...do we keep trying to work around our donor and using fresh donations each time or do we just get him to visit the clinic with us so they can test and frezze the best quality and go from there...the only down fall is the 6mth "cooling off" period you have to sit through before they will proceed with IUI its not so much a quick fix.

So it can start to shed away from the uterus, in the form of a period, which would explain your spotting at CD24.
If you are seeing a new Fertility Specialist for a second opinion, try and write down as much as you can remember about previous cycles. It will then be easier for him/her to formulate a plan.

OK thanks J. This is actually the first time AF (if that's what its turning into, however light it is) has come on it's own since I came off the pill in December. My other two AFs have been primolut induced (and were equally light) which is why I am confused. I thought if I didn't O then I wouldn't get AF. I might call my FS and ask whether to start clomid tomorrow then.

Our clinic don't have a cooling off period if you use sperm from the international bank. DP says we should try a few more times and go with our original plan which was clinic in dec if not already pregnant...hmmm.

Just a question.... Would 9dpo be too late for implantation?
