    Default Education tax refund

    Have any other hubbers that are studying recently received a payment of education tax refund ? I just checked my online services with Centrelink and it's being paid to me this week nice little bonus I wasn't expecting

    I wasn't aware there was such a payment. Do you need to be on a particular benefit from centrelink to be eligible for it?

    I get PES as well and as far as i'm aware i'm not up for any additional payments.
    Do you have primary school aged kids? Could that be what the payment is for?

    I received $818 education tax refund and it's because I have two primary school children. It's the new bonus gillard brought in. It's not from studying.

    Hmm.. weird. I just logged into online services and i'm definitely not up for any extra payments. Centrelink are on the ball with PAYG summaries this year though... that's already available..lol

    I think centre links made a boo boo than lol, I used to be on au study and twice a year you received an education bonus but that was $1000
