    Human beings have been trying to better themselves since time began and parenting skills or lack thereof always was and always will be up for debate. Generations to come will be discussing the same kinds of things we do now. Someone always thinks their way of doing things is better. It's a natural thought process. Nothing weird or different going on now. I bet there was some superior know all back in 1124 who thought she was doing a much better job of raising her child than the other mothers. She couldn't discuss her opinions on an internet forum, but I bet she made herself heard.

    "The more things change, the more they stay the same" springs to mind. Of course it is up to the individual which advice they take and which they choose to ignore.
