Default Egg donor in Thailand or Vietnam experiences

    Hi Everyone,

My partner and I have recently been informed I cannot conceive using my own eggs (I am 24 and DH is 30).

As everyone in this situation will understand we were heartbroken.

Well the journey begins to IVF with donor eggs, we are looking for a Vietnamese egg donor as this is my ethnic background.

Has anyone had any experiences with egg donor through IVF in Vietnam or Thailand? can you refer me to any good clinics?

THis is all extremely new to me and all I want is to hold a baby in my arms and experience motherhood. Being my age this was not something I had expected however when you get thrown a curve ball in life, you need to keep on going and to be positive, its been hard but I know one day I will have a baby. I just look forward to that time.

    Babydust to all.

    Hi,

I've heard of a few people using Thailand for egg donors but not Vietnam unfortunately.

Hi, my DH and I (both 28) have had to pursue donor eggs. We are caucasian so have been once to the Czech Republic and will go again in November.

If this second try doesn't work for us we have been in contact with a clinic in Thailand called New Life. They are part of a network of IVF clinics that specialise in donor eggs and surrogacy. I found their Thai clinic when I was looking for donors and possibly a surrogate at their clinics in the Ukraine and Georgia. Their prices in Thailand were very competitive when compared to another clinic there that I had a quote from. The New Life director also recently spoke at the Australian Surrogacy conference which was a positive sign that they had links to this organisation.

I had an email from them within a day of sending an enquiry and their response was very thorough, especially for my situation. They also gave me access to a sample of their egg donor database so I could see what their donors were like.

We have also enquired with clinics in Hawaii and California and for us, we could fly to Europe and have 3 donor egg IVF cycles for every 1 cycle we could do in America.

I was very happy with the communication I received from NewLife Thailand and if we are unsuccessful in November we will be going there and will use an asian donor and surrogate. It's also soooo much closer than the USA and Europe!

I want to wish you all the best. This is such a difficult time and difficult situation, but just know you are not alone!

Hi Jensdream, just wondering if you had further progress on your research or started the egg donation/ Ivf process? Would love to hear how you went as we are considering egg donation from Thailand.

Lavender, there is a blog about an Aussie that has just this week had her 2nd child via Thai ED (http://donoreggsjourney.blogspot.com.au/). We have looked closely at the Thai option (as my DH is Thai) and were very impressed with the information we were provided. It was also interesting to us that recipients can meet their donor if they wish.

Thanks Twocam. Do you mind me asking which hospital /clinic you went to and how was the experience? As I understands, in Thailand only seek an agent/ co-ordinator to facilitate the ED program, meaning the clinic can not deal directly with patients on the ED program, which one did you use?

can you pm me if you do mind me asking more questions?

Good luck with the result on your transfer.
