If you don't know or aren't sure ask!!! That's what everyone is here for.

I always strap mine in even my 3yo - she gets the choice walk or ride...... She was a very wriggly baby and used to slide down her pram she does the same in bed!!!

I too have been practicing putting the new pram up and down and have taken it for a few test runs with my DD.

I was pushing my DS down a hill in his pram when 9 months old, the straps broke and he face planted the concrete. So obviously without even doing the straps up the risk of this happening increases.

The Valco basinette on our pram didnt come with straps but had little clips where I could attach a harness, so I went to the baby shop and brought a harness that I could use to strap bub in. TBH I had no iadea that it could even take a harness and my friend was telling me that she didnt have her bub strapped in and she was coming out of an elevator and her pram got stuck on the edge and it tipped over and her baby fell out. That's when I investigated a harness for our basinette.
