Default Laundry liquid stain on carpet -help!!!

DD got hold of a empty refill pack of laundry liquid and dripped a littke that was left on our bedroom floor before i could catch the scamp. I wiped up straight away with a damp cloth but once dried was still there. Tried again and thought id got it. Then after vacuumibg the other day the stains are back. The liquid is blue but looks like little dirty white bleach stains on the carpet. Any tips on how to remove we live in a rental

Can you soak them with water and 'wash' them out maybe?

Nah I'd soak it, I don't think a damp cloth would have wet it enough to get it out, iykwim?

Suds is good, keep doing it til there are no more suds. It may clean your carpet so the area that got cleaned may look slightly lighter for a little while, it won't be bleached, just clean.
