Default C25K on the roads not in a gym?

Has anyone done c25k on the roads/footpath and not in a gym? I really want to start running again and this is the only way I can think to do it without a gym membership or a trainer ...

    Cool!

You don't feel like a naff naff stopping and starting? Last time I did it in a gym and was oblivious ... I feel really self conscious for some reason!

    Hiya,
I just read the top post about feeling self conscious etc. I did to start with, maybe the frst 3 times etc. You soon get over iit. ook at all the other runners out there. They had to start somewhere. I live in a neighbourhood where everyone knows me, I don't really care what they think, especially now that I have lost heaps of weight and I am a lot healthier.
I am not sure about the Nikes. Sorry.
