Default Does dummy use past a certain age have an effect on speech development?

    Hi everyone,

I am conducting a study as part of my Masters degree, to examine whether dummy use has a negative effect on speech development.

If anyone is interested, I would very much appreciate you completing an anonymous survey regarding your experience with your child's dummy use.

I am looking for mums or carers of all ages, with children of all ages.

The survey is anonymous and can be accessed via the following link:

    https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TSTKKX2

Thankyou so much for your time and your interest.

This link didn't work for me. Although it may just be because I am on my phone. Did it work for everyone else?

    Hi Honeymoonbub,

I'm so sorry the link didn't work. Would you mind trying again from a computer and see how it goes? I have got some results coming in but not sure if it's from this thread. Thankyou so much for trying )

I agree MummaOJ, that's what I thought too. Most developmental websites have fairly similar milestones though, although they also say there is a lot of variation between children.

I'm mostly interested in the answers to the articulation question, with the developmental question more for added information.

I filled it out for you though i really think my son's speech problems have nothing to do with him using his dummy (he has other medical problems that contribute).
