Default For those who used the fold over cuffs in wondersuits.

We have been using the fold over cuffs/mittens in the wondersuits for our DD since using a sleeping bag.
She is 6months and I have gone to buy her size 0 ones but no more cuffs!

How did you transition from not having there hands tucked away? She is a nightmare to get to sleep otherwise, pulls the dummy out, wants to play etc. She doesnt cry or anything but just wants to keep playing. Plus she touches her face a lot when going off to sleep so also worried about scratching.

    Any advice?
    TIA

Hi, how about mittens? Get good ones that don't slip off.

I've heard it's best not to use those in the first place because it's really important babies always have their hands free to learn.

Anyway I think you'll have to cold turkey! She's old enough now to not be wearing those thing to bed IMO.

Can you give her something soft to hold that keeps her hands busy yet free? At 6 mths they want to start exploring their surroundings more so. Trying to distract her might be better than using mittens or socks still?

I bought some size O suits from Target the other day and noticed they have a fold over cuff. I don't use it but that is an option for you. Target brand.

Does bub have a comforter? Maybe a soft cloth or comforter in the hands will help as a distraction.

The bonds zip up wonder suits have cuffs - DS is wearing size 0 and they have foot and hand cuffs. The zip can be annoying doing a night time nappy change though as you have to undo the entire suit.
