Default 'non alcoholic' beer while pregant

So i was about to open a single cooper's "non-alcoholic" Ultra light beer to have with my dinner untill i read it contains Less than 0.05% alc/vol.....i got them in the soft drink isle in the supermarket! meaning 10yr olds could drink it!
Alcohol is alcohol when pregnant - do i have the drink?
im so bummed about it :/ as i was looking forward to it.

Non alcoholic beer is considered safe for pregnant women to drink.

0.05% or less of alcohol - that amount of is also found in lots of processed foods, canned foods and fruit juices.

But if you feel really guilty still maybe it's not worth the stress! Up to u

If you're still concerned about it then you could always dilute it with some lemonade and have a shandy.

Fruit juice can contain up to 0.1%, so better off having the non-alcoholic beer than a glass of OJ.

As others have said, you get more than that in fruit juices. Coopers is fine.

Thanks ladies thats so much more re-assuring, i figured the alcohol was a product of the natural malt and barl etc .... i skipped it last night because i felt guilty (*humph!*). However after reading your replies i might give it a go tonight im sure it's fine to have in moderation just like everthing else.
Just have this huge beer craving....bitter, malty, fizzy yumminess and the only thing that's gonna quench this thurst!
    Thanks again

Some studies have shown that a few glasses of wine during pregnancy is very unlikely to hold any risk at all. But regardless, I'd imagine 0.05% of alcohol wouldn't even tickle your liver! In fact, it may very well just be offended!

    Bottoms up!

Each to their own, if you're concerned dilute it or swap it for something else. I personally drank 2 glasses of it at my wedding (we were 8 weeks pregnant at the time) and I felt fine, and bubs is growing just fine (am 23 weeks at the moment) my GP said it was fine when I asked also.

I had a bottle of non alcoholic wine on Christmas day and didn't even get so much as a slight buzz, there's so little alcohol and if you drink it over a period of time then you should be more than safe.
