Do you mean preparing for breastfeeding? I think it's been found out that it makes no difference

I think it's to assist with labour as it creates a chemical in your body the same chemical which is created when labour starts.

    technique.....twist, tweak and rub

that's why sexy time is good for two reasons orgasm creates that chemical and semen softens the cervix

If you have a breast pump you can use that. If doing it by hand, this link explains how http://www.birth.com.au/Augmentation...n-how-to-do-it.

It's the same technique as expressing so it might help to google how to do that as well.

It's probably better to use a visual guide rather than a written guide I think. Maybe try utube? it did help bring on contractions for me. My only suggestion is try doing it in the shower where u can relax and be warm and think lovely baby thoughts shower also helps with lubrication for the stimulation.

I used nipple stimulation to encourage contractions.
I'm not sure if it helped or not as I was using a few different things to try and bring on labour.

If you google you will find heaps of different sites with info about how to do it, or ask your midwife :-)

a friend of mine is a midwife, she said if you kind of massage them and lightly squeeze that should help.
