    Default Centrelink help please

    Hi Ladies

I just want to know how does centrelink know who my "partner" is?
I over estimated my husbands income by quite a bit because someone told me that i needed to include superannuation in my estimate. So once i changed it half way through the financial year i was getting quite a bit more so I know that they owe me that.

Also, my baby was born in June 2011, however my payments didnt start until July because of the financial year aspect, do I get the 1 month worth of payments?

How does it work? I received the parental leave so i got taxed, do i get a group certificate from centrelink and have to claim tax? or does my husband just do his and i automatically get a payment in my account?

    thanks in advance!

I'm in the same situation aswell. My understanding is that once you and your partner have done your tax return, centrelink will pay you what they owe you. Normally it will be a lump sum payment
