    Default Fire

So last week my kids wanted to cook at late notice in our outdoor fire
    Chiminea thingy.

So they cooked sausages on sticks and stuck foil wrapped potatoes in the coals and had marshmallows for dessert.

    They had a ball!

We are doing it again with our neighbours this Saturday night and are looking for more delicious ideas...

I thought I could do some damper, but stuck beyond that... Any suggestions?

Slice a banana long ways down the middle. Put alternating chocolate squares and marshmallows in the middle of it, probably 3 of each, wrap in foil and cook over the fire. They dont need too long, just enough to melt the chocolate and marshmallow. I've made these heaps while camping. They are pretty yummy.

Baked potato or sweet potato? Just season, wrap in foil and pop into the embers.

Our camping dessert is smores.... So similar to the banana....
Melt marshmallows (1 or 2) on a stick, then put them on a biscuit (nice, choc ripple, scotch finger etc) place a piece of chocolate, mini choc bar or a couple of malteasers on top and sandwich with another biscuit... Omg they are so good! So sweet!
