    Default Strider plus owners

I've had my pram for about 2 weeks now and my DH rang this morning and said something got into the car and chewed through a bottle of soft drink, which is now alllll over my brand new pram.

Has anyone taken the seat covers off and washed them? Is it easy?
    Any other advice??

I'm upset. Only used the pram twice!

The seats are some sort of synthetic stuff i just put them in the shower with soapy water and they dried fine but dry in shade so they dont fade.
Now please elaborate what sort of boggie monster gets into cars and eats things!!!!!

Yes, I've taken the covers off my Strider Plus, and put them through the washing machine. It was a bit fiddly to get them off and on again, but they washed fine.

But you managed to get them back on and they are the same etc??

DH thinks it was a mouse, how it got into the car I have no idea but I'm not impressed!

Yes, exactly the same. I just did a cold gentle wash.

There is another thread on here about Strider's great customer service... I rang them once because I was wondering where I could purchase more of the harness covers as my little one had thrown it out of the pram.
The lady was lovely and offered to send me out some new ones - no charge !

There was other similar stories in the thread.... maybe give them a call and see what they can do ( whole new seat fabric maybe?)

Well DH got home and the damage isn't that bad! Seems most of the soft drink soaked into the carpet in the boot.
Seats only need a wipe down as does the frame so good news!
