    Default Toddler sleep - help!

Gosh it has a been a long while since I have been on here. Have been back a at work now for over 12 months and don't get time for the internet!

My DD now 2 years old has never been a great sleeper but now she is a toddler it is getting worse. Hoping someone can help.

She has always woken early 5:00 am ish. I can deal with that - mostly.

Then she goes through stages where she wakes up early in the morning at around 2:30 onwards. Most mornings I can bring her into bed and she goes back to sleep. But then on mornings like today she really works!

She needs to go to the toilet (we are toilet training). Then she needed cream on her bum bum. Then she was asking for toast and vegimite! Told her she had to wait until it was time to get up for toast. Then she didn't want any!

Anyway, any suggestions on how I can get her to sleep! I have ordered the Pinky McKay book - Toddler Tactics hoping that will help.

Had been thinking about that. Our biggest problem which I left out (brain does not work so well when it has been awake since 3:30 am!). Is she has a sleep association to me! Not even sure how/when it happened as it is a relatively new thing. I have to sit down with her while she goes to sleep. When she wakes up she wants me to sit down again. I tell her mummy can't sit down you can either stay here on your own or come into mummys bed. She always wants her bed at first then comes into my bed.

I know I need to work on that - but I'm so tired. And I work four days a week.
