Default Breast cancer and lump in armpit - PLS help!

Firstly i am going to see my doc but just wondering if anything similar has happened to anyone else. Im 31, about a week or so ago i noticed i was sore in my armpit. TMI but it felt sore like a large pimple and i squeezed it and blood and pus came out. Thought id just keep an eye on it. Now the lump is still there and not painful at all and is hard and unmovable. Im pretty worried, but the fact it started out painful etc and like an ingrown hair or something and now feels like something more sinister is weird.

I have had a few of these back when I was in highschool, very hard lump, and thick pus (very yellow mixed with blood) would come out, they would stay for about a week or two then go away, had a few over about a year. Haven't had them in 8 or so years, but I do remember how much they hurt!
Fingers crossed it is just an infection and nothing serious. Good luck at the dr!

I was on antibiotics and it just slowly got smaller and disappeared? It was so sore for so long and even though it felt like it was really in 'deep' in my armpit (like it wasn't on the surface like a normal pimple) it was pretty red around it, which was how far the infection had spread.. It felt like a really big marble, you couldn't really move it, you could a little but not really.

As I said it slowly went down and it got less and less sore until it was gone. This happened with all of them. At one stage the pain was so bad I remember I could barely have my arm to the side next to me

If u have had an infection in or around that area it could be a swollen lymph node. By the sound of it (u squeezed and pus came out ) u may have?

Thats what i thought jacobsmamma, thats why im confused that its still the same size, and now painless and hard and very much attached /unmovable.

Hoping someone with a similar problem had a good outcome, as i stupidly googled and cancers are just as i described the lump now, i actually feel sick with worry.

I have something similar behind my ear, it's just a cyst. Get it checked out though, but don't assume the worst x

I had that about 2 years ago! I saw 3 different doctors and they all agreed they were infected sweat glands. I had a course of antibiotics and they disappeared. They still flare up from time to time

I hope that's all it is for you, sounds exactly the same!
