I guess you could say it sorta does with DD. When inside she was a very active bubs during the day, but not when I was sleeping and even now her day sleeps can be hit and miss, but once she's asleep at night, she's a great sleeper.
This bubs is mostly active around lunch time, then in the evening (around dinner time) and when I go to bed. She's not as active as her sister though.
And as for slowing down, DD never really did. She was active my whole pregnancy. She just started to roll more than kick as she ran out of room (and she pretty much had her foot planted firmly in my ribs for the last few weeks. Ouch!)
