My new lunch, a piece of salmon fresh cooked from farmers market, fresh bag of salad and some cherry tomatoes. The salmon and the salad lasts 4-5 days so it's a perfect lunch and it's so Devine, clean and sugar free.

    Yum. Sounds awesome.

I had peanut butter today and forgot to look at the sugar. D'oh. I don't know how I missed that in the cupboard clean out. At least it was only a little bit

So I went sugar free yesterday and doing ok so far. What's everyone's views on small amounts of artificial sweeteners? I don't want to drink water or herbal tea all the time and in the evening like one glass of diet fizzy drink. Is this ok?

By the way with the peanut butter you can easily buy natural peanut butter by Sanitarium and the crunchy one tastes best. We always gave this to my son anyway as I was really surpised when we moved over from the UK that peanut butter here even contained sugar! It just isn't made with sugar or salt in the UK even the supermarket brands and all tastes really nice. Don't know why they put it in here. One of my frustrations lol

I've felt so hungry since I started this diet yesterday which is actually really nice as I have gastroparesis and usually struggle to feel hungry at all! Hopefully this will help manage the illness and also help me conceive my 2nd baby- fx!

    Bond girl, http://www.hungryforchange.tv/

Artificial sweetners are THE WORST! Why don't you buy yourself a soda ****** and make your own 'fizzy' just use alternative NATURAL sweetners! Xx

Well done mumtofive- that's a good weight loss!

I have bought some natural xylitol sweetener today. This is my 5th day sugar free and still missing sugar in my tea so will now add the xylitol instead so I enjoy it more. Also will use it for baking. Other than that I'm doing really well and not missing chocolate and other sweet things at all really! I had a sugar craving last night but had 3 dried apricots instead. Generally been avoiding dried fruit and just having two pieces of fresh fruit a day but figured this was better than chocolate! My appetite and gastroparesis symptoms have improved a lot.

Wow, going sugar free sounds quite hard! How did it go? Will need to get my hands on the Sweet Poison Quit Plan!
