    Default First appt

    Hi ladies, I have my first appointment with my Doc tomorrow (9 week appointment). I am hoping someone can help me with what to expect? Thanks ladies x

    Achievements:Topaz Star - 500 posts
    Mine ordered bloods, gave me an ultrasound referral as I had no idea of dates, and told me to come back in a few days for blood test results. With dd1, he also asked for a urine sample to do a poas test.

    Yep that about sums it up. Plus referral to a hospy or obstetrician.

    If its first appointment with GP then pretty much what the other posters have written.

    If it's your first appointment with your ob then it will be different. My first ob appointment involved her taking down my medical history, taking my blood pressure (this then happened every appointment) and she also did a quick scan. I also got a referral for the 12 week NT scan and bloods.
