Well I am awake at crazy o'clock, after going to bed super early. I had the d&c yesterday, and the staff at the hospital were all so lovely - even putting me in a separate room, so I wouldn't be with all the c-section patients and newborn babies. One very nice nurse even held my hand and cried with me.

Plan from here is to take the contraceptive pill for a month (as I have no natural cycle), then start estrogen pills for 2 weeks, and then do an FET. The wait is frustrating, but we've decided to go on a holiday in that time.

I will be joining one of the other threads now, but will still stalk this one to see how you are all doing. You've all been so supportive, and I wish you all smooth journeys from here.

I'm so happy to hear you had such great support at the hospital. Enjoy a well deserved and much needed rest and holiday and all the best for your next cycle. Thanks so much for the well wishes too

So sorry for your loss Girl X and Sel, no one should go through this. Hope to hear some great news from you soon x

AFM: I am 5 weeks tomorrow. Yesterday I started to get pain down my hip and my butt. It got worse sitting in the same position but it went away later.

During the night and continued till now I have a sharp pulling pain from my bikini line across my pubic bone more at the top of it on the left side to about the middle of the bone. Doesn't feel like cramps, more of a painful pull sometimes it is stronger. Has this happened to you? Feels like this baby is growing fast. Maybe it's worse because it's my first? Hope everything is fine.
    Hey Rach

I have had cramping and 'tugging' feelings ever since ET so it's completely normal what you're feeling - just bubs making room. Only be concerned if you have strong cramps accompanied with bleeding in which case check with your doc. I had some bleeding too at around 6 weeks but all was good

    xx

GirlX and Sel I'm sending you lots of support and good thoughts. I look forward to reading good news from you both in the future. Rest and recover xx

Congratulations crafty, nicsta, SL and kmvw! I'm so happy to hear that it's all going so well for you girls.

I'm just waiting for my scan on 31st. The nurse called from the clinic this afternoon to see how I'm doing which I thought was nice although I had to get DH to speak to her as I have lost my voice!

Tootyfruity how many weeks/days will you be when you have your first scan? I was meant to have it on the 31st July but pushed it out another two days so I will be 6w6d. FN said anytime after 6w4d but don't want to have the scan to early and be disappointed.

Thanks SL, good to be reassured this is normal. Still have another two weeks of this, wish I found out I was preggers later so the wait isn't so long.

That's the thing with modern technology and IVF you find out sooo early and it seems like an eternity to get through each week, even each day! I recall how awful I felt and how long the process seemed when I was at the 4-5 week mark, and now I will be 10 weeks on Tuesday, so time does go on, it just seems like forever!

Just as an FYI we had our first scan at 7wk2d

According to my calculations I was 6+1 yesterday at my first scan, I haven no idea why the clinic thinks I'm 6+3 but we did see the heart beating very easily

5w1d feeling drowsy. Slept 11hrs, slept a little on the coach now and still sleepy. Queasy today but Macca's fixed that...haven't eaten it for over 3 months. ClearBlue says i'm 5+ so on track.

Still feeling a big tug along my bikini line and continuos pain on the left side of my pubic bone and sometimes just above it (pain more stronger than other times). It's been 3 days now, seems it's to early for round ligament pain - can this really be stretching, the fetous is so small? Did any of you experience this for that long? Doesn't feel like it's going away anytime soon.

Hope you're having a great weekend

Hey Rach, maccas fixed me up the other day too : ) sleepiness has probably been my biggest and most obvious symptom so far. Tugging and ligament pain for me started early on and continued for a while, I'm sure what you're feeling is normal.

    Happy Sunday xx
