Just came out from the scan. The FS couldn't find a heartbeat and wants me to come back next week.

He said IVF embryos often develop a bit slower, and that the embryo and sac look okay, so he thinks it should be ok.

I can't stop crying. DH is still optimistic, but to me this confirms all my worst fears. The next week is going to be a long one.

Girl X so sorry to hear. I'm sure it will be ok and trust your dr's opinion. After your cry (which I totally understand) try to stay positive and keep your body relaxed so your bubba can soak up the good energy. Will check back on this thread next week see how you are doing...just wanted to drop by and give you my support.

Oh GirlX, I'm so sorry to hear this. Rachael is right, I'm sure the FS would have the best opinion and if he is hopeful that's what you should go off for the next week. It's hard not to think the worst I know but try and be as positive as you can. Remember we are all here for you

Oh GirlX MASSIVE HUGS What a horrible time for you. Agreed with the other girls, if the FS says that it should be OK then just go by that until your next scan. You may be too early to see the heartbeat too....xxx
