Sorry to hear Bronte... I have all the same feeling you have about age and time. I also like my FS but think we have run out of ideas.

Im At the positives so far rachel and amysan... Hope it continues strong. I worked today. May have worked too hard actually as was very busy so hope all is well still.

Started bleeding overnight so think it's the sign it hasn't worked this time as it's very predictably the same as last 2 times right on cue. We are disappointed but accept our fate that it wasn't meant to be. We still have a frozen to try. Will wait till Friday to test for sure.

Rachael and Amysan best of luck and hope you're still going strong

Sorry to hear Kenta, just saw your post. This feels like a viscous cycle that never ends but hopefully and eventually it does. Is it worth POASing now just to double check?

Although I said I would POAS I was afraid of the disappointment, so the way it happened really took me off guard. I just hope that the BT reads as well as the sticks.

Mum just called asking if I would see a specialist and I told her more about IVF (as she was asking) even though no one knows about this other than DH and I, and my BH support group She said if we wanted to go down that route and need money from her that's not a problem, doesn't matter how much it costs. I would never take her up on the offer but it's the thought that counts, she is the best mother. I just hope this works so I can bring her some good news. I feel bad sometimes I push her away because i'm so down and want to be left alone.

Just thought I'd share this with you.

Been down this road before... So predictable the timing... Expecting a negative. Usually have to wait a few more days before I can check usually. Bleeding more like a period now so pretty sure it's not a good sign as seen it before happen the same way. It's tough and sad to accept but we realise we can't do anything about it.

Im wishing you well Rachael. We haven't told our families about ivf either as trying to not get all the unnecessary questions.

Kenta....that sux big time! I was quietly hopeful for you this time. Its not over yet...i still hung on to a small spec of hope yesterday before my blood test, but like you am very philosophical, I cannot be worrying all the time about what I cant have and remember to cherish what I already do have. AF in full swing now & mixed with crinone is even more joyous! Still wsiting to hesr from fs...but figure dh & I should give it a red hot go this month without ivf. Afterall we r challenged...not dead! Lol...dh will be so excited! U never know...nice to be romantic since ivf kills all romance.
Hope u r hanging in there rachael...not long now. Will be following your posts.
Kenta I really hope u r wrong...either way would love to keep following your journey too xo

Thanks Bronte hugs to you too....FS confirmed it's not good and recommended we could use our frozen embryo anytime. However, DH brought up a good point. At 40 now and with time against me, maybe we need to do another cycle to give us better chance to make some more embryos. So much to think about. If we do another cycle do we make changes or do the same thing? Have you tried luveris? Others seem to be talking about saizen? My FS doesn't use these things.

Bronte I agree with you about ivf killing the romance. Just told DH that we also could give it a go naturally this cycle, although I'm sure odds are stacked against us as DH has extremely low count.

Rachael, hope you are staying strong All the best.

Hi ladies, just thought I'd let you know since you have been with me on this journey that I got a confirmed BFP today, BT was this morning. My levels are high so hopefully it's a good start but I'm not out if the woods until the first scan which will be 31st July. Still feels very surreal.

Hope you are both ok, even though it's been a very tough journey.

That is such fantastic news Rachael. It's such exciting news and well deserved as you had such great blasts. I hope the pregnancy runs smoothly for you. Congratulations

AFM have to make some tough decisions over the next week about doing another cycle before using our frozen embryo as feel I'm getting old.

Thanks Kenta. Feeling run down today hope it's the pregnancy not me getting a cold again.

Hopefully your FS's opinion should help you make that decision. It's a tough one, like all of this it's a gamble. Did your embryo look good before it was frozen? Maybe it's worth doing another stim and add this frozen emb to the batch? See what FS says. Let us know what you decide.
