TTC after recent complicated loss and contraceptives

My partner and I are FINALLY ready to start a family but I have so many questions about TTC! I was diagnosed with PCOS approx 10 years ago however cycles have been normal for some time. I was on Implanon for one and a half years and conceived immediately after having it removed but lost the pregnancy in early stages. It resulted in a D&C in which the "surgeon" perforated my uterus. The first couple of cycles were horrible but after being on Levlen for a few months this has settled down and im hoping after the next appt I will get the ok to start again. Basically im interested to hear how anyone coped with ANY of these issues with trying to conceive, particularly perforated uterus and fertility/complications after contraception, as I have been told that getting pregnant as soon as contraceptives are stopped can increase chances of miscarriage, as can PCOS...is this true? I know PCOS can affect fertility but miscarriage?

I had a missed mc at 12 weeks and had a d&c immediately. I waited 8 weeks for AF then took primulot to bri g on AF. We then started trying again on the next cycle. I think it took 6 months to get pregnant again. We didn't have any d&c complications but I was 39 so that was a fertility factor. If you are worried maybe book into to see a fertility specialist who may be able tell you more about your complication and what it will mean for future pregnancies. Sorry you had to go through this. I have since visited a specialist who has prescribed clomid to start during my next cycle, fingers crossed it works. anyone had any experiences with this they'd like to share?
